Mined diamonds form from nature’s carbon. Your diamond forms from your own personal carbon, only instead of taking millions of years to form, yours will be created within weeks!
Although each mined diamond is slightly different, they will never be as precious, valuable or personal to you as your Diamond.
Grown in a state of the art laboratory, revolutionary high temperature high pressure recreates nature’s process at an accelerated speed.
Coloured diamonds are so rare in nature most people do not realise they even exist. Tens of thousands of clear diamonds are mined to very, very few coloured. Under controlled diamond growing conditions, top grade diamonds are now produced that are not only of sentimental value but also extremely valuable
Certified Heart in Diamond are chemically, optically and physically identical to mined diamonds.
Your diamond is hand cut to exact proportions by the leading gem cutters
How does your get it’s colour?
Your Diamonds acquire their fancy colours by the same process as mined diamonds only replicating the nature’s process in a lab.
What make them coloured?
Heart in Diamond offers diamonds in the following colours:
Yellow, orange, green, red, blue, white and black
Yellow and Orange diamonds contain Nitrogen (N) which makes this colour. The more Nitrogen in the lattice the more saturated the yellow will become thus beginning to look more orange and even brownish. Orange and Yellow lab-grown diamonds are Type Ib diamonds.
Blue diamonds receive their colour from Boron (B). The amount of boron used will influence the saturation of the blue colour. Blue created diamonds are Type IIb diamonds. No irradiation is used to create a Blue colour.
Green and Greenish-Yellow diamonds
are similar to yellow with the difference in additional growth process due to a higher temperature and pressure than used to create orange. No irradiation is used to create a Green colour.
Red and Black diamonds
are created after the growth process has been completed, which is called electron bombardment. This is an absolutely safe process commonly used in medical practice. The colour is stable and very rich.
Colour depends on the added materials above; atoms form becoming part of the crystal matrix lattice so depending on the above additives during your memorial diamonds growth will depend on the lively vibrant colour of your chosen memorial diamond. We currently offer rich autumn red diamonds, warm diamond sunset yellow often referred to as canary yellow diamond, sparkling apple green diamonds and tranquil ocean blue diamond. And ice white diamonds
The most expensive diamonds in the world are coloured from the famous Blue Hope Diamond to the rarest red shield diamond worth hundreds and thousands of pounds. they are 10 – 50 times much more expensive than clear ones.
