The first step in transforming ashes to diamonds for pets is to decide how the diamond will look. You need to choose the diamond’s colour, cut and carat. At Heart In Diamond, we offer the following:

When you’ve designed your diamond, it’s time to send us the ashes. Regardless of the style of diamond you choose, you need to send us approximately 100 g of cremated ashes for each diamond you desire.

Diamond production usually takes around 90 days from receipt of suitable material. The rough diamond is then cut and polished to the agreed specification; jewellery and other selected options may add time.
Private vs communal cremations
If you want to have your pet’s ashes turned to diamonds, it’s important you choose a private cremation over a communal cremation.
During private cremations, each animal is cremated individually, so you can be certain the ashes you receive are exclusively from your pet. However, during communal cremations, several animals are cremated together, so you can never be sure the ashes you receive in return are entirely from your pet.
Some crematoriums which offer communal cremations provide a partitioned service. In this scenario, each animal is cremated in its own section. If you want to keep the cost down while still being sure the ashes are entirely from your pet, this is a suitable alternative.
